There is a common theme among the liberal community that demands its members to assume victimhood in any opportunities that seemingly present themselves. This is dangerous for several reasons, but it’s certainly resonates with the notion that “even bad publicity is good publicity.”

Watch the video below:

U.S. Olympic figure skater, Adam Rippon, emanated this victimhood in January when he claimed that Vice President Pence supported “gay conversion therapy,” and doesn’t stand for anything he believes in, as a result.

Following these comments, Pence’s office attempted to arrange a meeting between Rippon and Pence to express good-will, as Pence is a loyal supporter of our athletes and certainly doesn’t believe in conversion therapy.

Donald Trump Jr., much likes his father, doesn’t particularly care for bullies, especially bullies pretending to be victims. Following Rippon’s comments about not wanting his Olympic experience to be about VP Pence, Trump Jr. checked him at the door with the following tweet:

“Really? Then Perhaps you shouldn’t have spent the past few weeks talking about him. I haven’t heard him mention you once???”

While Pence hasn’t attacked Rippon, he actually had addressed him via Twitter last week with the following words of encouragement:

“.@Adaripp I want you to know we are FOR YOU. Don’t let fake news distract you. I am proud of you and ALL OF OUR GREAT athletes and my only hope for you and all of #TeamUSA is to bring home the gold. Go get ‘em!”

Let’s keep politics out of the Olympics! This athlete is trying to stir up conflict where none exists. Mike Pence is a good man. Period.
